Biography Overview
Rachel’s decision to become an attorney was born out of a desire to use the law as a tool in the fight against social injustice, systemic inequality, and institutionalized discrimination. She is eager to advocate for justice on behalf of her clients, and to hold powerful corporations and government entities accountable. She finds working on the firm’s cases to be incredibly meaningful, and she feels lucky to be learning from a team of experienced, sharp, and caring attorneys.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachel clerked in the Washington State Court of Appeals for the Honorable Anne M. Cruser. She graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, where she worked as a student attorney in the Michigan Innocence Clinic and the Civil Rights Litigation Initiative. Before law school, Rachel served with the Peace Corps for two years in Guatemala.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys dabbling in pottery, exploring all that Seattle has to offer, and spending time in nature—hiking, skiing, cycling, and swimming in Lake Washington with her dog.
