Vanessa J. Firnhaber Oslund is a partner at the firm. She has been fighting for justice for asbestos victims since 2008. Vanessa takes equal pride in her zealous advocacy in the courtroom and her compassion for her clients. She takes a special interest in helping victims of “take-home” asbestos exposure who were exposed to asbestos through their parents’ or spouse’s work clothes.

- $1.7 Million settlement for a 62-year-old mesothelioma victim exposed to asbestos through her shipyard worker father and the work clothes of her husband who worked in construction.
- $1.3 Million settlement for 57-year-old mesothelioma victim who was exposed to asbestos from her millworker father’s work clothes.
Prior to joining Bergman Draper Ladenburg Vanessa served as counsel to the Washington State Senate on issues pertaining to consumer protection.
